Estos relatos son el producto de experiencias personales que apelan a vivencias compartidas mediante un lenguaje que interviene los esquemas de la escritura académica para que los sentimientos, las experiencias de vida y las reflexiones fluyan a través de la escritura. El grupo de investigación Ciencia de la Información, Sociedad y Cultura, de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, apuesta por nuevas formas de crear que examinen los pormenores del mundo de la información a partir de un enfoque creativo y narrativo. Este enfoque permite reflexionar y proponer una visión del mundo, al tiempo que los distintos géneros narrativos y artísticos ofrecen una perspectiva específica. Justamente, los compiladores de este proyecto, los profesores Alfredo Luis Menéndez Echavarría, Aída Julieta Quiñones Torres y Mario Fernando Cuéllar Montealegre, invitaron a los autores a que realizaran una propuesta creativa en la que se diera cuenta de esas experiencias que atravesaron durante el confinamiento producido por la COVID-19.

Shaping the Future of Small Islands
The book provides fresh look at the issues of sustainable development, degradation of natural resources and vulnerability to climate change in Small Island developing states (SIDS). It documents the deteriorating state of SIDS and adaptation efforts made to address the impending crisis of unsustainable economic growth with international, national and community support. Authors have discussed issues like macroeconomic trends, vulnerability, resilience capability, and SIDS-specific strategies focusing on sectors like trade and tourism. Discussion continues with the examination of democracy, social capital, quality of life, and health concerns. Climate change and natural resource challenges are analyzed using case studies. The book also discusses diplomatic complexities of international climate agreements, collective action and institutional quality constitute the analysis of global environment and sustainable development.

Air Pollution Modeling and its Application XXVI
Current developments in air pollution modeling are explored as a series of contributions from researchers at the forefront of their field. This newest contribution on air pollution modeling and its application is focused on local, urban, regional and intercontinental modeling; emission modeling and processing; data assimilation and air quality forecasting; model assessment and evaluation; atmospheric aerosols. Additionally, this work also examines the relationship between air quality and human health and the effects of climate change on air quality. This work is a collection of selected papers presented at the 36th International Technical Meeting on Air Pollution Modeling and its Application, held in Ottawa, Canada, May 14-18, 2018. Global Atmospheric Change and its Impact on Regional Air Quality
The NATO ARW in Irkutsk was an excellent occasion for the coming together of Eastern and Western scientists who are involved in tropospheric science; the workshop has greatly contributed to the scientific and social understanding among the participants from the many different countries. Many new personal contacts were made which will help to strengthen future collaborations. In particular, the Lake Baikal area and the Limnological Institute offer splendid opportunities for environmental research which, in part, is already on going.
