Kosa kata yang disajikan di buku ini ialah kosa kata yang sering dipakai baik dalam percakapan maupun dalam buku teks yang dipakai di sekolah. Kosa kata dalam buku ini sangat mudah dipelajari karena setiap kata ada terjemahannya dalam bahasa Indonesia dan contoh pemakaiannya dalam kalimat-kalimat sederhana. Kosa kata dalam buku ini dibagi ke dalam empat kelompok; mulai dari kelompok kata yang paling sering digunakan sampai pada kelompok kata yang frikuensi pemakaiannya lebih rendah. Buku ini memuat 3110 entri, jumlah kosa kata yang cukup untuk dapat memahami buku teks bahasa Inggris yang dipakai di sekolah menengah. Untuk mempelajarinya, disarankan mulai dari kosa kata kelompok pertama karena kelompok kata inilah yang paling sering digunakan.
