Coğrafya statik bir unsur olabilir lakin politika oldukça dinamik, dolayısıyla değişken bir yapıdır. Bazen coğrafyanız sayesinde politik başarılar kazanırsınız bazen de coğrafyanıza rağmen. Lakin jeopolitik bilmezseniz hiç kazanamayacağınız aşikârdır. Jeopolitik sorunların bölgesel kalmadığı, küresel etkilere sebep olduğu günümüzde sadece kendi jeopolitik konumuzunu bilmek yetersiz kalmaktadır.
