Olive, Mabel & Me: Life and Adventures with Two Very Good Dogs

The story of Olive and Mabel, Labrador retrievers who rose to internet fame as the subjects of Andrew Cotter's BBC sports parodies. When sporting events were put on hold in March 2020, commentator Andrew Cotter shifted to working from home. The one-on-one competitors? His two Labrador retrievers, Olive and Mabel. On Divorce

On Divorce is the debut title in a new portrait photography series by The School of Life. The photographs and accompanying texts were captured and recorded over two-years by the British photographer Harry Borden (himself divorced). The images are a mirror that can help to correct some of what we think we know of divorce and pull us in a different direction: towards compassion, identification, curiosity, self-reflection and empathy. The book also features an introduction by The School of Life and 'Questions for Self-exploration' for the reader. Harry Borden is an acclaimed British portrait photographer. Harry has exhibited widely, including the solo show Harry Borden on Business at the National Portrait Gallery in London in 2005. In January 2017, his book Survivor: A Portrait of the Survivors of the Holocaust was published to much acclaim and was judged as one of the year's ten best photography books by the Kraszna-Krausz Foundation. His second book, Single Dad, was published by Hoxton Mini Press in 2021

Science fiction, fantasy, comics, romance, genre movies, games all drain into the Cultural Gutter, a website dedicated to thoughtful articles about disreputable art-media and genres that are a little embarrassing. Irredeemable. Worthy of Note, but rolling like errant pennies back into the gutter. The Cultural Gutter is dangerous because we have a philosophy. We try to balance enthusiasm with clear-eyed, honest engagement with the material and with our readers. This book expands on our mission with 10 articles each from science fiction/fantasy editor James Schellenberg, comics editor and publisher Carol Borden, romance editor Chris Szego, screen editor Ian Driscoll and founding editor and former games editor Jim Munroe.

Let me tell you about Faeries, let me take you away on a journey, an adventure. The Faultlines is an ancient name given to those places where the veil between this world and the Other is thinnest. Recently the Faultlines have been stirring, opening up to all who wish to see, and to all who dare to venture... Faeries of the Faultlines was an instant Kickstarter success in 2017, and this edited, expanded edition includes the complete original documentation from the greenmen to mermaids, with expanded sections and many more faeries to meet! "Iris Compiet's work is an astonishing and masterful revelation of the Faery Realms. She is an artist who, with stunning alacrity, reveals the fleeting personalities of the normally unseen." --Brian Froud "Iris summons and draws upon the forces that are necessary in giving life to such creatures--imagination, an intelligent curiosity, and a relentless energy. The Faeries are lucky to have her!" --Alan Lee "I have known Iris for many years. I have watched her find her voice. I am enchanted by her vision." --John Howe
