The Bahurutshe
The Bahurutshe explores the history, culture and religion of the Bahurutse in the North-West Province of South Africa. The historical dates, facts, and events of Batswana are informed by verbal tradition. This information attains greater transparancy when the chiefs admit European missionaries into their midst. In this book, Chief Moiloa II plays a prominent role by leading his migratory tribe to settle at Dinokana and including the missionaries in his tribe. The largest contribution towards this book was made by three missionaries from the Hermannsburg Mission Society, who submitted numerous reports to their superiors in Germany. The Bafokeng
In this book, the history of the Bafokeng in South Africa is examined through the lens of Christian missionaries of the Hermannsburg Mission Society. The book looks into the culture and religion of the Bafokeng, using the numerous reports submitted by Christoph and Ernst Penzhorn to their missionary superiors in Germany. These pioneering missionaries not Ã?Â?only had the Christianization of Africans in mind and strove to understand their traditional belief system, but they also facilitated the school education of the Bafokeng in a manner that was inextricably linked to everything else. Border Experiences with Evil
My experiences with evil have prompted me to take up studies at the University of South Africa (UNISA) for an M.A. in theology, which researches the different spirit appearances/manifestations that are classified into four main types/groups. Central to this book are my ownexperiences with evil. My border experiences with evil have taught me this: The Church must fight against evil. The Church depends on its Lord, who says: 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.' That does not mean, however, that I should sit back and do nothing.MyLord is 'God over all'! In letting me share in His Kingdom, He has assigned me a responsibility. This responsibility lies therein that I practise love and that I avoid evil or combat it consciously and appropriately. Everything else I leave to my Lord to whom I have entrusted my life, and whowill also determine it.

The author draws a very different picture in his study of a number of German missionaries in various parts of Tanzania, who had a high appreciation of African culture. He argues that acceptance of inculturation attempts do not depend on race but on role, and the same applies to both Black and White.
