Final Concord Between William Shakespeare and Hercules Underhill, Gent
To reconfirm purchase of New Place, Stratford-upon-Avon, which was originally purchased in May 1597 from Underhill's father, William. The elder Underhill died two months after the initial purchase, supposedly poisoned by his eldest son Fulke, who was hanged in 1599 for the crime.

Capt. John Underhill (ca. 1585-1672) immigrated to Long Island, New York in or prior to 1630, from England. He married Honor Pawley while still in England. Includes ascending genealogy to prove his relationship to Thomas Underhill of Kenilworth, England.
