On the verso of the page, Newton and Haynes sign a transfer of the money to Francis Hall, who acknowledges receipt on Aug. 15, 1719. The document is signed by various witnesses including a Geo. Baillie, Wm. Clayton, Halifax, and John Aubrey among others.
