The three-volume set LNAI 7196, LNAI 7197 and LNAI 7198 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 4th Asian Conference on Intelligent Information and Database Systems, ACIIDS 2012, held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan in March 2012. Computational Collective Intelligence. Technologies and Applications
This volume composes the proceedings of the Second International Conference on Computational Collective Intelligence––Technologies and Applications (ICCCI 2010), which was hosted by National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences and Wroclaw University of Technology, and was held in Kaohsiung City on November 10-12, 2010. ICCCI 2010 was technically co-sponsored by Shenzhen Graduate School of Harbin Institute of Technology, the Tainan Chapter of the IEEE Signal Processing Society, the Taiwan Association for Web Intelligence Consortium and the Taiwanese Association for Consumer Electronics. Smart Information and Knowledge Management
New approaches are needed that could move us towards developing effective applicable intelligent systems for problem solving and decision making, One of the main efforts in intelligent systems development is focused on knowledge and information management which is regarded as the crucial issue in smart decision making support. The 14 Chapters of this book represent a sample of such effort. The overall aim of this book is to provide guidelines to develop tools for smart processing of knowledge and information. Still, the guide does not presume to give ultimate answers. Rather, it poses ideas and case studies to explore the complexities and challenges of modern knowledge management issues. It also encourages its reader to become aware of the multifaceted interdisciplinary character of such issues. The premise of this book is that its reader will leave it with a heightened ability to think - in different ways - about developing, evaluating, and supporting intelligent knowledge and information management systems in real life based environment.

This two volume set of books constitutes the proceedings of the 2014 7th IEEE International Conference Intelligent Systems (IS), or IEEE IS’2014 for short, held on September 24–26, 2014 in Warsaw, Poland. Moreover, it contains some selected papers from the collocated IWIFSGN'2014 ‐ Thirteenth International Workshop on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets and Generalized Nets. The conference was organized by theSystems Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences, Department IV of Engineering Sciences, Polish Academy of Sciences, and Industrial Institute of Automation and Measurements – PIAP. Transactions on Computational Collective Intelligence II
These Transactions publish research in computer-based methods of computational collective intelligence (CCI) and their applications in a wide range of fields such as the Semantic Web, social networks and multi-agent systems. TCCI strives to cover new methodological, theoretical and practical aspects of CCI understood as the form of intelligence that emerges from the collaboration and competition of many individuals (artificial and/or natural). The application of multiple computational intelligence technologies such as fuzzy systems, evolutionary computation, neural systems, consensus theory, etc., aims to support human and other collective intelligence and to create new forms of CCI in natural and/or artificial systems.
