String Quartets
This research guide is an annotated bibliography of sources dealing with the string quartet. This second edition is organized as in the original publication (chapters for general references, histories, individual composers, aspects of performance, facsimiles and critical editions, and miscellaneous topics) and has been updated to cover research since publication of the first edition. Listings in the previous volume have been updated to reflect the burgeoning interest in this genre (social aspects, newly issued critical editions, doctoral dissertations). It also offers commentary on online links, databases, and references.

Case Studies in Strategic Management
Most business schools use case studies in their courses. However, these are typically based on past cases and assigned to students to solve. This book describes a new approach for teaching with case studies, which was developed and applied successfully at TUM School of Management. In this approach, student teams write and solve their own case study on a topic concerning current and future businesses. A case can thus be on their own startup or a strategic decision of existing companies. During the course, the students receive intensive coaching while selecting and developing the case topic by the course advisors as well as feedback by industry experts and executives for whom the case is actually a burning question. The authors present 17 cases covering strategic questions for startups and technology companies such as Deutsche Post, BMW, Ryanair, Lufthansa, Stadtwerke München, Fielmann, adidas, Siemens, Caribou Biosciences, eon, Airbus, Unicredit and UBS.

Inklusive Berufsbildung junger Menschen
In Zusammenarbeit mit zehn Berufsbildungswerken wurden im Projekt PAUA neue Angebote für benachteiligte junge Menschen und junge Menschen mit Fluchthintergrund entwickelt. Der Band präsentiert die entwickelten Konzepte sowie Materialsammlungen und stellt diese ambulanten und stationären Einrichtungen beruflicher Rehabilitation zur Verfügung. Ziel der Autor:innen ist es, die Kompetenzen der Berufsbildungswerke in Richtung Inklusion aufzuzeigen und ihre Entwicklungsprozesse und Fortschritte zu präsentieren. Mit der Entwicklung neuer Angebote und Dienstleistungen für ausbildende Unternehmen wird gleichzeitig die Chance auf eine betriebliche Ausbildung für Menschen mit Förderbedarf erhöht. Das Projekt Anfänge, Übergänge und Anschlüsse gestalten - Inklusive Dienstleistungen von Berufsbildungswerken (PAUA) wurde vom Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Soziales gefördert und soll das Prinzip Inklusion in der beruflichen Bildung stärker verankern.
Active Aging in Economy and Society
Germany currently finds itself amidst profound demographic change. The tasks of the future workplace will fall on the shoulders of a smaller and older potential workforce. The 2006 Carl Bertelsmann Prize for Active Aging in Economy and Society is founded on the belief that combining growth and innovation with a high employment rate while preserving social cohesion can only succeed if we foster and utilize the employment potential of every individual. In view of demographic changes, we need to preserve the value-generating potential, skills and experience of older people in particular for our economy and society, and promote their (re)integration into the workplace. In light of high unemployment levels among seniors-and not just in Germany-keeping older people in the workforce longer will demand integrated efforts in various social sectors and on various social levels. This publication presents and discusses challenges, perspectives and strategies that could be very significant as elements of a comprehensive strategy for active aging in Germany.

Lernortkooperation in der Ausbildung digital denken?
Die digitale Transformation bietet Chancen für die Lernortkooperation, stellt diese aber auch vor neue Herausforderungen. Vor dem Hintergrund des gesetzlich definierten und gesellschaftlich gewachsenen Anspruchs an die Lernortkooperation werden in dem Sammelband - illustriert an Praxisbeispielen - aktuelle Entwicklungstrends dargestellt. Ausgelotet werden dabei Potenziale der Digitalisierung für die Lernortkooperation auf inhaltlicher, individueller und organisatorisch-kommunikativer Ebene. Daraus werden Perspektiven für die Weiterentwicklung der klassischen Lernortkooperation zu einem regional verorteten und virtuell erweiterten Netzwerk entwickelt.
