Anhand der Geschichte der Entwicklungspolitik in der ländlichen Türkei lassen sich gut die Erwartungshorizonte aufzeigen, die deutsche, amerikanische und türkische Akteure für das Land in der Nachkriegszeit formulierten, das in der Zeit zwischen Marshallplan, Bevölkerungskrise und neuer Migrationspolitik fest in globale Diskurse eingebunden war.
