Ancestry of Joan Celia Gerrard
Chiefly ancestry of Joan Celia Gerrard who was born 25 August 1926 in Bisbee, North Dakota. The daughter of Americus Bisbee and Johanna Andrea Bolmer Gerrard, Joan married Bernhard Albert Hadler, son of Bernhard Herman and Mabel Jacques Hadler, on 1 January 1949 in Bisbee, North Dakota. Ancestor Andrew Gerrard was born 29 July 1856 in New Aberdour, Scotland, the son of Alexander and Margaret Giles Gerrard. Andrew emigrated to Towner County, North Dakota in 1884 and started a blacksmith shop. He married Celia Bisbee on 24 December 1886. He died 22 December 1930 and is buried in the Cando Cemetery, Cando, North Dakota. Ancestors lived in England, Scotland, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Delaware, North Dakota and elsewhere.
