Joel Jenkins (1614-1688), he arrived at the seaport in Watertown or Charlestown, Massachusetts about 1639, then removed to Braintree, Massachusetts. He married Sarah Gilbert (1624-16-?), in 1640. He became a freeman in May 6, 1646, then moved to Malden, Massachusetts. There he acquired a 100 acres of land. They had 6 children.
