The John Alexander Guthrie Family History
John Alexander Guthrie (1831-1905), son of William Guthrie and Janet Stewart, was born in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland. He married Mary Anderson (1831-1875) in 1860 in Saltcoats, Ayrshire, Scotland. They had eight children. He married Jeanie Lindsay Allan (1853-1920) in 1879 in Ayr, Scotland. They had three children. He died in Boerne, Texas.
