Martin Hauser (1697-1761) married Maria Margaretha Schaefer and immigrated from the Palatinate of Germany (via Rotterdam) to Philadelphia in 1727, later moving to Rowan County, North Carolina. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, North Carolina and elsewhere. Includes ancestors in Germany.
