John Woodward (1665-1728), geologist, physician and author; Professor of Physics at Gresham College, London. Letters to Woodward on medical, scientific, antiquarian and theological topics, 150 items. The collection includes drafts of his replies, and a few letters between other persons which were passed on to Woodward.
