They settled in Cumberland County, Penn. where four more children were born, Christina died and Johannes married again. Diese Lücke schliesst die Reihe 'Geschichte des Gottesdienstes in den evangelisch-reformierten Kirchen der Deutschschweiz'. Der dritte Band befasst sich mit den Voraussetzungen und der Entwicklung der Reformation in der Stadt St. Gallen, im Rheintal, im unteren Toggenburg und im Fürstenland zwischen Rorschach und Wil.
