João Scortecci é escritor, editor, gráfico e livreiro. Nasceu no Ceará em 1956. Veio para São Paulo em 1972, onde reside até hoje. Fez sua estreia literária no ano de 1973, com o poema “Mulher de Rua” na Revista POETAÇÃO, do centro acadêmico da FAU/USP. João Scortecci nasceu no Ceará em 1956 e mora em São Paulo, Capital, desde 1972. NA LINHA DO CEROL são reminiscências poéticas de sua infância em Fortaleza, Ceará, no ano de 1964. É editor, gráfico e livreiro. Diretor Presidente do Grupo Editorial Scortecci. Foi Diretor-Adjunto e Vice-Presidente da Câmara Brasileira do Livro, em três gestões. Em 2004, em coautoria lançou o Guia do Profissional do Livro (Informações importantes para quem quer escrever e publicar um livro), já na sua 16ª edição. Palestrante e Consultor em Negócios com Livros. Membro do GEDIGI da Abigraf/SP, docente da Escola do Escritor e editor do Portal Amigos do Livro.

Migrants and Identity in Japan and Brazil
Economic and social difficulties at the beginning of the 20th century caused many Japanese to emigrate to Brazil. The situation was reversed in the 1980s as a result of economic downturn in Brazil and labour shortages in Japan.
