Archiprix International
Every two years, Archiprix International invites all university-level courses in the field of architecture, urban planning and landscape architecture to select their best graduation projects and to submit these for participation. This book presents a cross-section of the projects, including the nominees and winners chosen by an independent jury, and the favorites chosen by the participants themselves, supplemented by a representative selection that shows the range of designs and the graphical distribution across all continents. In addition, the book contains the jury report as well as biographies of the designers of the nominated projects. A DVD presents the entirety of the projects. Archiprix International was first organized in Rotterdam, the home base of Archiprix International, in 2001. In 2007, Archiprix International is held in Shanghai, with the College of Architecture and Urban Planning of Tongji University as the main partner. Archiprix International provides a platform for educational courses in architecture, urban planning and landscape architecture, and brings together and supports newly-graduated, talented designers at the start of their career.
Cinematic Architecture
Following Pascal Schönings̕ Manifesto for a Cinematic Architecture (Architectural Association, 2005), which laid out the theoretical context for the work, Cinematic Architecture consists of a selection of student projects, related installations and critical essays. It will form the basis for a cinematic colloquium to take place at the AA on the day of its launch on 15 May 2009.
Fact and Fiction
Fact and Fiction is the third and last volume of a trilogy of books which seeks to document the work, events and spirit in and around the Architectural Association's Diploma Unit 3, run by Pascal Schoning from 1993 to 2008 and its experimental project: Cinematic Architecture.

Experimentaation
This publication documents a year in the life of the Architectural Association School of Architecture. The book includes 199 full-colour pages featuring 744 illustrations of student work and school events alongside 45 texts by AA teaching staff, providing an overview of the many projects, presentations, worldwide study trips, visiting lectures, conferences, exhibitions, AA publications and other special events that took place during 2005/06. The DVD feaures more than 4,100 images, 80 videos and 40,000words of text presenting the work of more than 500 students who joined us from more than 60 home countries, making the AA the world's most international school of architecture.
