The present book includes a set of selected extended papers from the 12th International Conference on Informatics in Control, Automation and Robotics (ICINCO 2015), held in Colmar, France, from 21 to 23 July 2015. The conference brought together researchers, engineers and practitioners interested in the application of informatics to Control, Automation and Robotics. Four simultaneous tracks will be held, covering Intelligent Control Systems, Optimization, Robotics, Automation, Signal Processing, Sensors, Systems Modelling and Control, and Industrial Engineering, Production and Management. Informatics applications are pervasive in many areas of Control, Automation and Robotics. ICINCO 2015 re...
As future generation information technology (FGIT) becomes specialized and fr- mented, it is easy to lose sight that many topics in FGIT have common threads and, because of this, advances in one discipline may be transmitted to others. Presentation of recent results obtained in different disciplines encourages this interchange for the advancement of FGIT as a whole. Of particular interest are hybrid solutions that c- bine ideas taken from multiple disciplines in order to achieve something more signi- cant than the sum of the individual parts. Through such hybrid philosophy, a new principle can be discovered, which has the propensity to propagate throughout mul- faceted disciplines. FGIT 2009...
The present book includes a set of selected papers from the tenth “International Conference on Informatics in Control Automation and Robotics” (ICINCO 2013), held in Reykjavík, Iceland, from 29 to 31 July 2013. The conference was organized in four simultaneous tracks: “Intelligent Control Systems and Optimization”, “Robotics and Automation”, “Signal Processing, Sensors, Systems Modeling and Control” and “Industrial Engineering, Production and Management”. The book is based on the same structure. ICINCO 2013 received 255 paper submissions from 50 countries, in all continents. After a double blind paper review performed by the Program Committee only 30% were published and presented orally. A further refinement was made after the conference, based also on the assessment of presentation quality, so that this book includes the extended and revised versions of the very best papers of ICINCO 2013.
SYROCO'2003 covered areas and aspects of robot control Topics: Robot control techniques (adaptive, robust, learning) Modeling and identification Control of discrete / continuous-time robotic systems Non-holonomic robotic systems Intelligent control Control based on sensing Control design and architectures Force and compliance control Grasp control Flexible robots Micro robots Mobile robots Walking robots Humanoid robots Teleoperation and man / machine dynamic systems Multi-Robot-Systems, cooperative robots Applications: space, underwater, civil engineering, surgery, entertainment, mining, etc. *Provides the latest research on Robotics *Contains contributions written by experts in the field. *Part of the IFAC Proceedings Series which provides a comprehensive overview of the major topics in control engineering.
Welcome to the proceedings of the 2010 International Conferences on Grid and D- tributed Computing (GDC 2010), and Control and Automation (CA 2010) – two of the partnering events of the Second International Mega-Conference on Future Gene- tion Information Technology (FGIT 2010). GDC and CA bring together researchers from academia and industry as well as practitioners to share ideas, problems and solutions relating to the multifaceted - pects of high-performance and compound control systems, including their links to computational sciences, mathematics and information technology. In total, 1,630 papers were submitted to FGIT 2010 from 30 countries, which - cludes 198 papers submitted to GDC/...
This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-conference proceedings of the Second International Conference on Agents and Artificial Intelligence, ICAART 2010, held in Valencia, Spain, in January 2010. The 17 revised full papers presented together with an invited paper were carefully reviewed and selected from 364 submissions. Same as the conference the papers are organized in two simultaneous tracks: Artificial Intelligence and Agents. The selected papers reflect the interdisciplinary nature of the conference. The diversity of topics is an important feature of this conference, enabling an overall perception of several important scientific and technological trends.
The present book includes a set of selected extended papers from the sixth International Joint Conference on Computational Intelligence (IJCCI 2014), held in Rome, Italy, from 22 to 24 October 2014. The conference was composed by three co-located conferences: The International Conference on Evolutionary Computation Theory and Applications (ECTA), the International Conference on Fuzzy Computation Theory and Applications (FCTA), and the International Conference on Neural Computation Theory and Applications (NCTA). Recent progresses in scientific developments and applications in these three areas are reported in this book. IJCCI received 210 submissions, from 51 countries, in all continents. Af...
This book contains the revised and extended versions of selected papers from the 14th International Conference on Agents and Artificial Intelligence, ICAART 2022, which took place virtually during February 3–5, 2022. The conference was originally planned to take place in Vienna, Austria, but had to change to an online format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 9 full papers included in this book were carefully reviewed and selected from 302 submissions. They were organized in topical sections as follows: agents; artificial intelligence.
This book contains the revised and extended versions of selected papers from the 10th International Conference, ICAART 2018, held in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal, in January 2018. The 45 full papers together with 42 short papers and 26 Posters were carefully reviewed and selected from 161 initial submissions. The papers are organized in topics such as Agents, Artificial Intelligence, Semantic Web, Multi-Agent Systems, Distributed Problem Solving, Agent Communication and much more.
This book is a collection of the best papers presented at the 2nd International Conference on Informatics in Control, Automation and Robotics (ICINCO). ICINCO brought together researchers, engineers and practitioners interested in the application of informatics to Control, Automation and Robotics.
