Belakangan, undang-undang yang membahas tentang ketenagakerjaan sedang ramai diperbincangkan. Hal itu karena perlindungan hukum sangat penting dalam melindungi hak dan kewajiban para pekerja serta kejelasan dalam menerima uang pisah pada pekerja/buruh yang mengundurkan diri. Lemahnya perlindungan hukum terhadap pekerja/buruh dapat terlihat dari problematika apabila pekerja/buruh mengundurkan diri. Pada kondisi tersebut tidak ada dasar yang jelas dalam menentukan besaran pengaturan yang pisah bagi pekerja/buruh yang mengundurkan diri. Untuk itulah buku ini ditulis dengan maksud menemukan implementasi terhadap besaran pengaturan uang pisah pada pekerja/buruh yang mengundurkan diri. Hal tersebut dibutuhkan agar tujuan hukum untuk memperolh kepastian, kemanfaatan dan keadilan tercapai.
