Bitterroot
In 1858, four hard men ride across the border into the New Mexico Territory. Their target is a large ranch where they hope to get rich. After the raid they ride off with a box of ancient coins, leaving the rancher's family dead and the ranch burnt down. Before he dies the rancher sends a letter to his friend, Abraham Lincoln. During the Civil War, some of the stolen coins turn up in the western Territories. President Lincoln nominates former Cavalry Caption Joseph 'Joe' Pernell as U.S. Marshal and requests him to follow the trail of coins and get justice for his dead friend. From Fort Union in New Mexico, the Marshal starts his search which ultimately brings him to the Montana Territory, where he was born and raised. During the journey Joseph Pernell has to use his wits and military experience more than once to solve the mystery of the stolen coins and to bring the raiders to justice.
EGO SHOOTER
A man is shot in broad daylight from a long distance outside Missoula, Montana. The local detectives connect the shooting with another unsolved killing in Munich, Germany. FBI agent Denise Marceau and Missoula detectives Doug Mills and Sam Caffey seek the support of Alexander Granger, agent of the German Federal Police (BKA). They join forces to uncover the mystery behind the shootings while further people are being killed. The chase for the killer leads Denise Marceau and Alexander Granger across the west of the USA unearthing a long-forgotten tragedy. The shooter has a score to settle with the people that took away his family unraveling the DEPTH OF THE PAIN.
Rogue Invasion
During a private trip to Singapore, German federal police officer Alexander Granger is approached by Interpol agent Brandon Song regarding overlapping investigations in Hamburg and the city-state. In both cities, commercial containers have been found with strange appliances built into them. While they are investigating these containers, they are shot at. In the South China Sea, tensions are boiling between China and Taiwan. There are indications that the two nations may be getting closer to a serious military conflict. A lawyer in Boston is asked to write a legal brief which could rattle the U.S. Presidency. Meanwhile, commercial containers are loaded onto trucks and head from Vancouver towards the Rocky Mountain States. On their way to Montana, North Dakota and Wyoming, the truck drivers leave a trail of death. Alexander Granger, with the help of Interpol in Singapore and police in Germany, follows the trail of the mysterious containers, trying to connect the dots between the various events and to prevent a global crisis.
Downhill
A real estate developer with designs on a prime property on the hills of Kitzbühel gets shot skiing downhill and the stepson of a politician running for Senate is unexpectedly killed in the mountains of Arizona. A mysterious organization calling itself ́The Green Hand ́ claims responsibility for both incidents. BKA operative Alexander Granger and his colleague and girlfriend, Interpol agent Cynthia Yeow, are asked to support the investigation. Both are in Kitzbühel for a short skiing vacation taking a break from major cases. Alexander is investigating a case of stolen guns and military equipment disappearing from a military compound in Afghanistan while Cynthia is looking into a wide-ranging case of human trafficking involving young women from Russia. Alexander ́s friend from Montana, Sam Caffey, had been hired by the politician ́s stepson to find out something about the past. When Sam seems to have succeeded someone tries to kill him. Alexander and Cynthia follow the trail of ́The Green Hand ́ which leads them to Munich and London. Their path to identify those behind the murders is filled with death and tragedy.
The Fake
After the killing of a bank employee in Munich is linked to the violent death of a man who worked at the Luxembourg branch of the same global banking group, Alexander Granger of the German Federal Police (BKA) is asked to investigate the mystery involving company accounts at these banks where it seems large sums of money have been flowing in and out for unknown purposes. At the same time another man is killed in Singapore while making a call to Interpol agent Cynthia Yeow in Hong Kong to tell her about financial irregularities on a company account he was reviewing. Alexander and Cynthia join forces after more people are killed, all linked to the same few connected companies, and follow clues...
