About Trees
About Trees considers our relationship with language, landscape, perception, and memory in the Anthropocene. The book includes texts and artwork by a stellar line up of contributors including Jorge Luis Borges, Andrea Bowers, Ursula K. Le Guin, Ada Lovelace and dozens of others. Holten was artist in residence at Buro BDP. While working on the book she created an alphabet and used it to make a new typeface called Trees. She also made a series of limited edition offset prints based on her Tree Drawings.
Sustainable Innovation in Food Product Design
This book comes out of the 12th Iberoamerican Congress of Food Engineering, which took place at the University of Algarve in Faro, Portugal in July 2019. Transdisciplinarity and Translationality in High Dilution Research
While evidence for the biological effects of high dilutions (above Avogadro’s number) has been extensively documented since the 1980s, it seems to remain invisible to part of the global scientific community. This book provides investigators and other interested readers with direct access to the latest research, conducted between 2009 and 2019, by members of the Groupe International de Recherche sur l’Infinitésimal, the first international scientific society devoted to scientific studies of high dilutions.
