The Migration Conference 2022 Selected Papers
The 10th Migration Conference, TMC 2022 was hosted by the Faculty of Law, Economic and Social Sciences Agdal of Mohammad V University, Rabat, Morocco and organised by AMERM (l’Association Marocaine d’Etudes et de Recherches sur les Migrations) and IBS (International Business School, UK. The TMC 2022 Rabat was the first time such a major conference on migration held in Africa. The Conference accommodated discussions involving ministers, politicians, practitioners, lawyers, academics, media, experts, young researchers and students, practitioners and wider public. This conference was the first in person event in the series after two years of COVID-induced virtual conferences.
Health and Ethics
The book Health and Ethics stems from the need to divulge the knowledge and emotions shared by students and professors during the first lessons of Moral Philosophy, led by Professors Pacifici Noja and Boccanelli. A spontaneous bond which had arisen amongst the two counterparts, led to an innovative model of creative interaction. The students, divided into 17 groups, had to choose among different themes suggested by the professors, according to their preferences and personal interests. The themes range among many fields, but they have one purpose in common: highlighting and studying the different relationships bonded between the physician and the patient. Therefore, the book was designed to be an important resource for the comprehension and the understanding of both the difficulties and the duties a physician needs to face, but also of the satisfaction and happiness which can arise from them.
The Migration Conference Abstracts Book
The Migration Conference is the largest international annual academic event on migration with a global scope and participation. Participants of the TMC2022 Rabat have come from all around the world presenting and discussing migration. Researchers from over 70 countries have presented their work at the Conference. The conference entertained 3 plenary sessions, 6 panel discussions, 4 workshops, and 1 movie screening over four days. 8 sessions were held in French and Arabic, while 6 sessions in Spanish and 3 sessions were in Turkish. The topics covered in the conference included integration, acculturation, migration policy and law, labour markets, theory and methods in migration studies, culture, communication, climate change, conflicts, insecurities, media, gender, remittances, high skilled migration and several other key topics. Il nuovo volume del CIRS – Centro Internazionale per la Ricerca Sociale nella scienza della salute, raccoglie il primo ciclo di conferenze dedicato alla relazione inscindibile tra comunicazione e scienza e – come sottolinea il magnifico rettore dell’UniCamillus Gianni Profita, nel cui solco e nella cui tradizione di studi il CIRS si inserisce – costituisce un unicum nella storia dell’ateneo. The Migration Conference 2022 Programme offers about 80 sessions in four days from 7 to 10 September. The Migration Conference series attracted a few thousand colleagues over the last 10 years and become one of the largest continuous events on migration and the largest scholarly gathering with a global scope. The conference covers all areas of social sciences, humanities, economics, business and management. The Migration Conference 2020 Proceedings: Migration and Politics
This is the second volume of the Proceedings of The Migration Conference 2020. The Migration Conference 2020 was held online due to COVID-19 Pandemic and yet, in over 80 parallel sessions and plenaries key migration debates saw nearly 500 experts from around the world engaging. This collection contains contributions mainly dealing with migration and integration debates. These are only a subset of all presentations from authors who chose to submit full short papers for publication after the conference. Most of the contributions are work in progress and unedited versions. The next migration conference is going to be hosted by Ming-Ai Institute in London, UK. Ripartire con la cultura. Ripartire con la sanità
Il primo rapporto annuale del CIRS – Centro Internazionale per la Ricerca Sociale nella scienza della salute, istituito presso l’Università UniCamillus di Roma nel 2020, punta sui concetti di sanità e cultura per favorire la ripartenza. Sanità e cultura, normalmente accumunati nel sintagma di uso comune di “cultura sanitaria”, sono qui mostrati e investigati in e da una prospettiva nuova, con lo scopo di creare un dibattito permanente sul tema, come in permanente trasformazione sono la società e la sanità. Al rapporto sono stati chiamati a contribuire professionisti di differenti ambiti, come quelli accademico, giornalistico-scientifico, dirigenziale medico e libero professionale. Il primo rapporto del CIRS non è però un libro bianco, piuttosto si configura come una serie di spunti interdisciplinari utili per affrontare argomenti di strettissima attualità.
