William Howel McKnight (1862-1934) was born at Minersville, Utah, the son of James and Sarah Ann Howell McKnight. Sarah Vilate Dalton (1866-1928) was born at Fillmore, Utah, the daughter of Charles Wakeman (Wayman) and Sarah Jane Lee Dalton. They were married in 1884 at Minersville. They had eleven children, 1886-1912, born at Beaver, Cedar City, Minersville, and Manila, Utah, and Menan and Moreland, Idaho. They both died at Moreland, Idaho. Descendants lived in Idaho, Utah, California, and elsewhere.
