A coletânea que ora apresentamos encaixa-se na modalidade de memórias clínicas e é nesta perspectiva que deve ser lida. Os casos são interessantes, sobretudo pelo que foram capazes de estimular nos terapeutas. Mais do que discutir os recursos que a terapia ocupacional pode propiciar para a clientela, os autores contam sobre os caminhos percorridos, com as inevitáveis dúvidas e buscas vividas pelos terapeutas até que algum sinal é dado e determinada clareira conduz terapeuta e paciente (cliente?) a um igarapé mais seguro. Igarapé porque não há certezas e conquistas definitivas em terapia ocupacional, assim como estas não existem na vida – e é principalmente vida o que transparece nas páginas desse livro.
