The method used is phenomenological, descriptive, and interpretative, drawing on a wealth of empirical research results, but at the same time being re-viewed and reorganized in the subjective-perspective framework concept.

Econophysics is an emerging interdisciplinary field that takes advantage of the concepts and methods of statistical physics to analyse economic phenomena.
