World Teachers’ Day
World Teacher’s Day is an annual celebration of teachers around the globe. Since 1994, October 5th has commemorated the 1966 ILO/UNESCO Recommendation concerning the Status of Teachers, which set benchmarks for the rights and responsibilities of teachers as well as their preparation, recruitment, working conditions, and continued professional learning. In 1997, the Recommendation concerning the Status of Higher-Education Teaching Personnel was adopted to complement the 1966 Recommendation. The 2021 celebration of World Teachers’ Day is co-convened by UNESCO in partnership with Education International (EI), the International Labor Organization (ILO), and UNICEF. Around the concept of “Teachers at the heart of education recovery,” the global event addresses the central role of teachers, teachers’ contributions to cultural, social, and economic life in all societies, as well as the support teachers need to contribute to (re)constructing education in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

I present this work in the hope that it will prompt my Readers to try and understand the divine Message in its original Arabic. They should remember that no translation can ever equal the Arabic text in its divine grandeur and pristine clarity.The divine Message of the Qur'aan remains valid for all times since its revelation until the Last Day. The Message therefore needs to be studied from time to time in changing perspectives of changing times. It would be wrong to confine it to circumstances of any past period. Most commentators so far have based their understanding of the Qur'aan in the strict perspective of circumstances and situations prevailing at the time of its revelation way back in 7th century. Muslim mindset generally has thus got stagnated and therefore unable to cope with changing situations of changing times. This humble attempt of mine is to help Muslims generally to come out of that crippling stagnation.This Part of my Qur'aanic Studies relates to Chapters 1 to 9 of the Qur'aan.

A Grammar of Epic Sanskrit
The two great epics of (old) India, the Mahabharata and the Ramayana, are written in a language, which differs from so-called classical Sanskrit in many details. Both texts still are of an enormous importance in India and other countries. Because of this, a grammar describing all the different characteristics of epic Sanskrit has been missed until now. The Grammar of Epic Sanskrit will now close this gap.
