Eine essenzielle Rolle dabei spielt die Schule und insbesondere der Religionsunterricht. Islamische Religionslehrkräfte sind mehr denn je gefordert, interreligiöse Kompetenzen (IRK) zunächst bei sich zu entwickeln, um sie dann bei den Lernenden gezielt fördern zu können.
