Böylesine büyük ve karmaşık bir metropolde güne cinayetle başlamak elbette şaşılası bir durum değildi. Ne var ki bu cinayet; gerek işleniş tarzı gerekse de katilin bıraktığı mesaj itibariyle diğerlerinden ayrılıyordu. Daha vahim olanıysa işlenen bu cinayetin daha sonra işlenecek cinayetlerin ilk adımı olduğunu, henüz kimsenin bilmiyor oluşuydu. Ömer istese de istemese de bu kaosa sürüklenecekti. Ve gözükene göre yalnız değildi. Basın muhabiri Büşra Çetinbaş da, işlenen bu vahşi cinayetleri haberleştirerek mesleğinde yükselmeyi amaçlıyordu.
