This book contains the latest scientific work of Ukrainian scientists and their colleagues from other countries of the world in three interrelated areas: systems analysis, artificial intelligence and data mining. The included articles present the theoretical foundations and practical applications of the latest tools and methods of artificial intelligence, scenario planning, decision making and computational intelligence for important areas of human activity. The tools and methods presented in the book are continuously evolving and finding new applications across various fields, contributing to advancements and efficiencies in different industries: healthcare, finance, retail and E-commerce, manufacturing and industrial automation, transportation and logistics advancements and cybersecurity. The results of the book are useful to teachers, scientists, graduate students of universities and managers of large companies specializing in strategic planning, engineering design of complex systems, decision-making, optimization of operations and other related fields of knowledge and practice.
The book contains the newest advances related to research and development of complex intellectual systems of various nature, acting under conditions of uncertainty and multifactor risks, intelligent systems for decision-making, high performance computing, state-of-the-art information technologies for needs of science, industry, economy, and environment. The most important problems of sustainable development and global threats estimation, forecast and foresight in tasks of planning and strategic decision-making are investigated. This monograph will be useful to researchers, post-graduates, and advanced students specializing in system analysis, decision-making, strategic planning or engineering design, fundamentals of computational Intelligence, artificial Intelligence systems based on hybrid neural networks, big data, and data mining.
This book is intended for specialists as well as students and graduate students in the field of artificial intelligence, robotics and information technology. It is will also appeal to a wide range of readers interested in expanding the functionality of artificial intelligence systems. One of the pressing problems of modern artificial intelligence systems is the development of integrated hybrid systems based on deep learning. Unfortunately, there is currently no universal methodology for developing topologies of hybrid neural networks (HNN) using deep learning. The development of such systems calls for the expansion of the use of neural networks (NS) for solving recognition, classification and optimization problems. As such, it is necessary to create a unified methodology for constructing HNN with a selection of models of artificial neurons that make up HNN, gradually increasing the complexity of their structure using hybrid learning algorithms.
This book gathers high-quality, peer-reviewed research papers presented at the Second International Conference on Computer Science, Engineering and Education Applications (ICCSEEA2019), held in Kiev, Ukraine on 26–27 January 2019, and jointly organized by the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” and the International Research Association of Modern Education and Computer Science. The papers discuss state-of-the-art topics and advances in computer science; neural networks; pattern recognition; engineering techniques; genetic coding systems; deep learning and its medical applications; and knowledge representation and its applications in education. Given its scope, the book offers an excellent resource for researchers, engineers, management practitioners, and graduate and undergraduate students interested in computer science and its applications in engineering and education.
This book on canonical duality theory provides a comprehensive review of its philosophical origin, physics foundation, and mathematical statements in both finite- and infinite-dimensional spaces. A ground-breaking methodological theory, canonical duality theory can be used for modeling complex systems within a unified framework and for solving a large class of challenging problems in multidisciplinary fields in engineering, mathematics, and the sciences. This volume places a particular emphasis on canonical duality theory’s role in bridging the gap between non-convex analysis/mechanics and global optimization. With 18 total chapters written by experts in their fields, this volume provides ...
This monograph is devoted to the consideration of new deep neural networks – Evolving Hybrid Stacking Neuro-Neo-Fuzzy Systems of Artificial Intelligence based on Group Method of Data Handling, which, in turn, is the first known method of deep learning. This method is based on the principle of self-organization and, unlike in other deep learning methods, it allows not only to adjust the weights of neural connections, but also to synthesize the optimal network structure in online mode. The proposed approach allows you to process information in online mode and solve a wide class of Data Stream Mining problems. Particular attention in the book is paid to the online bagging approach, when optimal accuracy results are synthesized for solving the problems of pattern recognition, forecasting, and classification. The book is aimed primarily at specialists in the field of deep learning involved in the development of new architectures and algorithms for deep learning networks and their application in forecasting, pattern recognition and medical diagnostics, but will also be of use to students of computer science and AI, and the general scientific community at large.

This book is devoted to describing theories for porous media where such pores have an inbuilt macro structure and a micro structure. For example, a double porosity material has pores on a macro scale, but additionally there are cracks or fissures in the solid skeleton. The actual body is allowed to deform and thus the underlying theory is one of elasticity. Various different descriptions are reviewed. Chapter 1 introduces the classical linear theory of elastodynamics together with uniqueness and continuous dependence results. Chapters 2 and 3 review developments of theories for double and triple porosity using a pressure-displacement structure and also using voids-displacement. Chapter 4 com...
This fascinating book is a treatise on real space-age materials. It is a mathematical treatment of a novel concept in material science that characterizes the properties of dynamic materials—that is, material substances whose properties are variable in space and time. Unlike conventional composites that are often found in nature, dynamic materials are mostly the products of modern technology developed to maintain the most effective control over dynamic processes.
