My Faith
This booklet is an attempt to present my personal understanding of my faith in a concise manner. It is intended to show the reader how the author is looking for the right approach to Islam and is strictly interpreting it only with the help of the Quran, which is regarded as revealed by God. He does not refer to traditions, scholars, secondary sources, alleged hearsay from the Prophet Mohammed (Hadith), Islamic legal rulings (Fatwas) etc., but only to the Quran alone. If one regards the Quran as God's word, then God, who is perfect in himself, is also complete. God's Word is also perfect and complete, requiring no human additions. Sounds logical, but not for the majority of Muslims. God is sufficient for his servant.

Getting to Know Allah - Legacy Edition
""111:1-5 Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and may he perish too; neither his wealth nor what he has earned will avail him anything. He will roast in a flaming fire, and his wife will be a carrier of fire-wood, she shall have a rope of fibre around her neck."" The phrase ""In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful"" launches 112 of the 114 chapters of the Koran. If compassionate is defined as being aware of the suffering of an other and wishing to relieve it, and merciful as being unconditionally kind and forgiving, then these are not the qualities we would associate with the Author of verses about roasting a man over an open fire, with his wife, tethered like an animal, supplying the firewood fueling the flame that is burning her husband. Does it matter that Abu Lahab and his wife did not hide their disdain for the Prophet Muhammad and his new religion? Science Under Islam
The book describes the rise of science (and technology) in the Islamic Golden Age, examines the causes that led to its decline, reviews failed later attempts for its revival and finally discusses social and religious reformation needed for it to flourish in contemporary Muslim societies. Social reformation covers rule of law, democratic infra-structure and human-rights, while religious reformation involves the reinterpretation of scripture. It is argued that without such a social and religious reformation, Muslims (a quarter of the earth's population) will be less able to participate in the science-driven 21st century world. Note that Muslim leaders in the UK and elsewhere are not addressing the need of such an essential reformation, without which, Muslims as a people will remain in a limbo and thus continue to be vulnerable to extremist ideas.
