The aim of this book is to report on the progress realized in probability theory in the field of dynamic random walks and to present applications in computer science, mathematical physics and finance. Each chapter contains didactical material as well as more advanced technical sections. Few appendices will help refreshing memories (if necessary).

The tradition of specialized courses in the Séminaires de Probabilités is continued with A. Lejay's Another introduction to rough paths. Other topics from this 42nd volume range from the interface between analysis and probability to special processes, Lévy processes and Lévy systems, branching, penalization, representation of Gaussian processes, filtrations and quantum probability.
This volume contains the latest results in the fields of quantum probability and infinite dimensional analysis. The contributions range from classical probability, 'pure' functional analysis and foundations of quantum mechanics to applications in mathematical physics, quantum information theory and modern mathematical finance. This diversity illustrates that research in quantum probability and infinite dimensional analysis is very active and strongly involved in modern mathematical developments and applications.
