A Tenth Generation Yankee from Maine
Chiefly the ancestors and some of their descendants of Nettie Apphia Gove Nicholson. Nettie was born 8 November 1905 to Abiel Richmond and Eva Cole Gove. She married Dr.John Bixby Nicholson, son of Dr. Samuel and Dr. Minnie Cantelo Nicholson who were both physicians. They were residing in Waldoboro, Maine, when their children were born in the 1930's. They eventually moved to Florida. Ancestors and descendants lived in Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Florida and elsewhere.
