It Came from the Great Salt Lake

The Great Salt Lake is a remnant of an ancient lake that was almost as long as the State of Utah. What mysteries does it hold in its briny waters? What secrets lurk in its murky shores? …a malevolent spirit haunts a pregnant woman, luring her ever closer to the salty depths, yet what it wants is much more horrifying than death… …the inversion and smog in the Salt Lake Valley carries more than just bad air… …two locals find more than they bargain for when they unearth an ancient box buried in the salt-caked muck… …a trip to Wendover turns deadly when something decides to tag along for the ride… …a young girl hears voices in her head, voices that keep her company. Biographical Index of Artists in Canada

This index has been compiled as a quick reference guide to biographies of 9,052 professional and amateur artists active in Canada from the seventeenth century to the present. The artists represent 42 professional categories, from animation to topography. In addition to 8,261 Canadian artists, the Index has 391 British, 300 American, and 100 European artists, all of whom spent part of their careers in Canada. Each entry provides the artist's name, date and place of birth and death (or years the artist flourished, if birth and death dates are not available), the nationality (if not Canadian), type of artist (major medium media used), and sources in which biographical information may be found. Several hundred cross-references link the various names used by some artists during the course of their careers.

It considers writers whose work is rarely discussed together, offering new re...
