Annual Report 1997-98
The Nova Scotia Dept. of Economic Development & Tourism is the provincial department most directly involved in the economy. It provides economic leadership within the provincial government, and works with communities, the private sector, and other levels of government to create and exploit economic opportunities. It also helps new and existing businesses, attracts investment to the province, provides business advice and information, and supports the growth and development of tourism in the province.
