Turkey in the New Century
This book has a particularity: It consists of Ismail Cem's articles, letters and speeches which were originally produced by the author in English or French, published by international press or addressed to foreign audiences. The only exception is an introductory chapter, 'A New Approach to Foreign Policy' that was added to this edition. The first edition was published in December 2000. 'I thought that my views as presented to a foreign audience might make an interesting entity', says Cem, 'that's how this book came about'.
