Studies in the Letters of Peter
Arden Thiessen has designed this book as a reading companion and study guide for the two biblical books written by the apostle Peter, 1 and 2 Peter. The book may be used for personal reflection and growth or for group studies. The book is not written as a normal verse-by-verse commentary, but identifies the themes that were in Peter's mind and discusses them in a narrative format. Each chapter concludes with a personal, reflective essay by the author, discussing the implications of Peter's teaching for the contemporary believer. These reflections could serve as the springboard for the preaching pastor who chooses to use the book for a series of sermons on the letters of Peter.
