Theophilus George Lloyd was born on 21 May 1836 probably at Manchester, Lancashire, England and died on 16 September 1872 in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales. He was the son of Hugh Lloyd and Jane Jones. Theophilus immigrated to Australia with an uncle in 1846. He married Margaret Clarke on 4 January 1860 in Goulburn, New South Wales. Telacon Lloyd, son of Theophilus, was born on 28 March 1868 in Wagga Wagga and died on 3 September 1942 in Wagga Wagga. He married Catherine Frances Maher, daughter of Daniel Maher and Harriet Fitzgibbons, on 23 December 1895 in Wagga Waggga.
