The genealogy of Mary Elizabeth Alice Louise Piélou (1866-1951), the descendant of Josué Pilot of Tircoger, and his son, Josué Jr. of Kilmalogue House in Portarlington, Ireland. Josué was a Huguenot refugee from France. Mary Elizabeth came to the Lower Mainland of British Columbia as the bride of William Henry Burr, whom she married in 1887. He died in 1896. She married Robert Judson Deane in 1897 in New Westminster. Descendants live in Canada. Also includes John Holmes (1724-1824) of Odogh, Three Castles, Kil- kenny, Ireland and many of his descendants from Holmesville, Huron Co., Ontario, 1833 and New Westminster, B.C., 1859.
