The book of “Fundamentals of Minimum Miscibility Pressure Determination Methods” provides a practical reference source for knowledge regarding minimum miscibility pressure (MMP) methods. This book contains some methods to determine minimum miscibility pressure based on literature review that may be used for the better understanding to industries, researchers, students, and many more. In other hand, the book results valuable information for lesson-learn, planning, execution, and monitoring the CO2 projects in the near future. Chapter I serves as an introduction to the subject. Chapter II is more specialized describing some of the methods to determining minimum miscibility pressure. Chapter III describes about advantages and disadvantages of the methods. Suggestions of many readers were evaluated in preparing this book. Any further comment and suggestion for improvement of the book will be gratefully appreciated. Please feel free to contact us directly.

This edited volume is based on the best papers accepted for presentation during the 1st Springer Conference of the Arabian Journal of Geosciences (CAJG-1), Tunisia 2018. The book is of interest to all researchers in the fields of petroleum engineering, reservoir engineering and petroleum geochemistry. The MENA region accounts for more than 50 percent of the world's hydrocarbon reserves. Despite being the largest oil and gas producer of the world, the MENA countries face routine problems regarding petroleum engineering, reservoir modelling and production optimization. This volume offers an overview of the latest information and ideas regarding reservoir engineering, petrophysical engineering, petroleum system modelling, non-conventional energy resources and environmental impact of oil production. Main topics include: 1. Advances in petrophysical characterization of reservoir rocks2. Enhanced oil recovery methods 3. Advances in petroleum exploration and management 4. Evaluation of hydrocarbon source potential and petroleum system modeling5. Non-conventional energy resources

This book is based on the laboratory and field research on Langgak Field, operated by SPR Langgak as one of Province-Owned Oil Company. This book is written to be a guideline and to add knowledge related to enhanced oil recovery (EOR) activity, particularly CO2 Injection. The authors are aware that the information about EOR activity in Indonesia is still limited, so with the presence of this book, we hope it can be made as a reference, not only for students but also for engineers and other researchers who would like to carry out or perform EOR project using CO2 Injection. The authors realize that there are some flaws in the completion of this book. Nonetheless, the authors believe this book will serve as a foundation for other CO2 EOR projects in Indonesia and improve the readers' understanding of CO2 Injection activity. Special thanks are given to the Director of PT. SPR Langgak, Mr Ikin Faizal, who gave us excellent support in the making of this book.

Carbonate Reservoir Characterization

F. Jerry Lucia, working in America’s main oil-rich state, has produced a work that goes after one of the holy grails of oil prospecting. One main target in petroleum recovery is the description of the three-dimensional distribution of petrophysical properties on the interwell scale in carbonate reservoirs. Doing so would improve performance predictions by means of fluid-flow computer simulations. Lucia’s book focuses on the improvement of geological, petrophysical, and geostatistical methods, describes the basic petrophysical properties, important geology parameters, and rock fabrics from cores, and discusses their spatial distribution. A closing chapter deals with reservoir models as an input into flow simulators.
