Professional psychic Rebecca Bartlett details her journey as a psychic from her teen years on with true stories of her experiences in pre-cognition, medical intuition and mediumship. Prophetic dreams were her first indication that she had a special ability. She tells of her desire to help humanity in the face of skeptics, insults and challenges in being recognized by those who could use her ability to save lives. Bartlett concludes with a review of scientific literature verifying the psychic experience. Praise From Her Clients: I have known or worked with physicians, holistic practitioners, therapists, native medicine men, psychiatrists, psychics, mediums and channels, all of whom were respe...

Young and pretty, Katie is healthy except for an aneurysm in her brain. It's operable, but she doesn't want it repaired, happily planning for her funeral. This puts the hospital in an awkward spot. If Katie dies of a treatable condition, they risk being charged with medical negligence.Miles, struggling with his own troubles, sees no point in working with Katie. He can't get her to embrace life when he himself is flirting with suicide. His boss feels differently and gives Miles an ultimatum: convince Katie to have the operation or forfeit his job. Slouching into therapy, Miles discovers Katie has an unusual problem. Her imaginary friends, Bill Zeebub and Harold Angel, have followed her into adulthood and are intent on making every ones' lives, including Miles's, more complicated.

Scholarly Electronic Publishing Bibliography

The Scholarly Electronic Publishing Bibliography presents selected English-language articles, books, and other printed and electronic sources that are useful in understanding scholarly electronic publishing efforts on the Internet. Most sources have been published between 1990 and 2008; however, a limited number of key sources published prior to 1990 are also included. Peter Jacso said in ONLINE (vol. 27, no. 3 2003, pp. 73-76): "SEP is compiled with utter professionalism. It reminds me of the work of the best artisans who know not only every item that leaves their workshops, but each component used to create them--providing the ideal quality control. . . . The selection of items is impeccable. I have yet to find journal articles irrelevant to the scope of the bibliography. SEP could be used as a benchmark in evaluating abstracting/indexing databases that proudly claim to have coverage of electronic publishing, but do not come close to SEP."
