A inconvencionalidade do crime de desacato
Este trabalho se propõe a estudar o exercício do Controle de Convencionalidade sobre a criminalização do desacato. Com esse estudo objetiva-se demonstrar que a criminalização dessa conduta não está de acordo com os standards internacionais, especialmente do Sistema Interamericano de Direitos Humanos que foi o Sistema de monitoramento que optamos ter como referência. Ficou demonstrado, especialmente por meio de julgados desse sistema, que a defesa da liberdade de expressão é uma das suas bandeiras e que criminalizar essa conduta se mostra contrário ao espírito democrático dos Estados que o compõe. Diante disso comprovamos que esse crime deve ser invalidado para que a normativa nacional esteja de acordo com o parâmetro internacional. Finalizamos o trabalho demonstrando que esse controle já vem sendo pontualmente defendido por membros do legislativo e do judiciário, embora ainda seja considerado crime pelo Tribunal da Cidadania.

About Trees
About Trees considers our relationship with language, landscape, perception, and memory in the Anthropocene. The book includes texts and artwork by a stellar line up of contributors including Jorge Luis Borges, Andrea Bowers, Ursula K. Le Guin, Ada Lovelace and dozens of others. Holten was artist in residence at Buro BDP. While working on the book she created an alphabet and used it to make a new typeface called Trees. She also made a series of limited edition offset prints based on her Tree Drawings.
