Rev. James Lamb has provided the Afro centric Spiritual community a tremendous literary historical-theological treatise. The psycho-social issues facing the African American community today have their roots in the legacy of white supremacy which has dominated Black life in all areas of human activity, including economics, education, entertainment, labor, law, politics, religion, sex and war. BLACK uncovers the historical legacy of this dehumanization process and provides the solution for the African American community to reclaim its African soul by restoring its memory of the Ancient Egyptian genius to address contemporary struggles of Black life in all areas of people activity, including ec...

The Love is a book about Soborno Isaac Bari, a four-year-old Muslim child who launched a campaign to create a world without terrorism. The book is divided into two parts: (1) Soborno’s fight with Imams to change their perception on non-Muslims and (2) his fights with Muslim Americans to denounce terrorism and be patriotic. Millions of people joined his campaign across the world—especially people in Bangladesh where two young Muslim students, Sadiyan Lima (Dhaka University) and Marjia Farzana (Jahangirnagar University), led the movement on behalf of their respective universities. It inspired many people, including Zahid Hossain and Safir Biplob and his son, to stand against the terror of the Islamic State. Zahid published Soborno’s biography, while Safir and his son went to 64,000 villages in Bangladesh posting 64,000 posters. Meanwhile, Uday Bengali made a documentary, I Love Christmas, which created an anti-terrorism movement around Bangladesh that is based on the philosophy of Soborno.

The Future of Whiteness

White identity is in ferment. White, European Americans living in the United States will soon share an unprecedented experience of slipping below 50% of the population. The impending demographic shifts are already felt in most urban centers and the effect is a national backlash of hyper-mobilized political, and sometimes violent, activism with a stated aim that is simultaneously vague and deadly clear: 'to take our country back.' Meanwhile the spectre of 'minority status' draws closer, and the material advantages of being born white are eroding. This is the political and cultural reality tackled by Linda Martín Alcoff in The Future of Whiteness. She argues that whiteness is here to stay, at...

In March 1993, Secretary of Defense Aspin initiated a comprehensive review of the nation's defense strategy, force structure, modernization, infrastructure, and foundations. He felt that a department-wide review needed to be conducted "from the bottom up" because of the dramatic changes that have occurred in the world as a result of the end of the Cold War and the dissolution of the Soviet Union. These changes in the international security environment have fundamentally altered America's security needs. Thus, the underlying premise of the Bottom-Up Review was that we needed to reassess all of our defense concepts, plans, and programs from the ground up. This final report on the Bottom-Up Review provides the results of that unprecedented and collaborative effort. It represents the product of hundreds of individuals' labor and dedication. It describes the extensive analysis that went into the review and the recommendations and decisions that emerged.
