Elements of Dynamical Systems
This book stems from lectures that were delivered at the three-week Advanced Instructional School on Ergodic Theory and Dynamical Systems held at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, from 4–23 December 2017, with the support of the National Centre for Mathematics, National Board for Higher Mathematics, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. The book discusses various aspects of dynamical systems. Each chapter of this book specializes in one aspect of dynamical systems and thus begins at an elementary level and goes on to cover fairly advanced material. The book helps researchers be familiar with and navigate through different parts of ergodic theory and dynamical systems.
Recent Trends in Ergodic Theory and Dynamical Systems
This volume contains the proceedings of the International Conference on Recent Trends in Ergodic Theory and Dynamical Systems, in honor of S. G. Dani's 65th Birthday, held December 26-29, 2012, in Vadodara, India. This volume covers many topics of ergodic theory, dynamical systems, number theory and probability measures on groups. Included are papers on Teichmüller dynamics, Diophantine approximation, iterated function systems, random walks and algebraic dynamical systems, as well as two surveys on the work of S. G. Dani.

This Handbook is intended as a desk reference for researchers, students and engineers working in various areas of solid mechanics and quantitative materials science. It contains a broad range of elasticity solutions. In particular, it covers the following topics: -Basic equations in various coordinate systems, -Green's functions for isotropic and anisotropic solids, -Cracks in two- and three-dimensional solids, -Eshelby's problems and related results, -Stress concentrations at inhomogeneities, -Contact problems, -Thermoelasticity. Random Walks, Boundaries and Spectra
These proceedings represent the current state of research on the topics 'boundary theory' and 'spectral and probability theory' of random walks on infinite graphs. They are the result of the two workshops held in Styria (Graz and St. Kathrein am Offenegg, Austria) between June 29th and July 5th, 2009. Many of the participants joined both meetings. Even though the perspectives range from very different fields of mathematics, they all contribute with important results to the same wonderful topic from structure theory, which, by extending a quotation of Laurent Saloff-Coste, could be described by 'exploration of groups by random processes'.
Trends in Number Theory
