Oxidative stress and aging is a multi-dimensional/factorial subject matter encompassing different degrees of organism complexity (from single-cell animals to humans), different molecules (DNA, RNAs, proteins and lipids), different cellular components (mitochondria, cytoplasm and plasma membrane), different tissues and organs, and different human subpopulations including those with different "lifestyles."
