En el último tiempo, los debates respecto del ambiente, el desarrollo y la soberanía tomaron parte de la agenda pública. Si unx recorre los casos donde "la naturaleza" es la protagonista, la única idea que sobrevive es que "las personas estamos destruyendo el planeta". Frente a esta simplificación, nos parece oportuno acercar una caracterización y un análisis crítico de las distintas corrientes y miradas que participan del debate, o como dice Juan Ramón Quintana en su prólogo: "una exégesis oportuna, necesaria y a su vez brillante sobre las sinuosas y cada vez más laberínticas teorías o posturas políticas que los expertos han decidido adoptar en sus debates sobre medio ambiente y desarrollo, o que en clave más amplia puede traducirse como la dialéctica entre cultura y naturaleza". Este texto es una propuesta para sistematizar en esos debates y aportar a la construcción de una perspectiva emancipadora, que tenga en cuenta que en la actualidad la naturaleza es un campo de disputa.

Both current theory and practice in financial markets are undergoing a strong pressure to include recently developed fields of inquiry, namely market microstructure, transaction costs and asymmetric information. This claim has been taking shape after nearly thirty years of worthy research and empirical development that laid sound groundwork to those promising subjects. The purpose of this book is to introduce a new approach to work out the returns from financial assets. Firstly, by means of the concept of differential rates, which allow the breaking down of the ordinary rate of return into components that are rates on their own. Secondly, residual information sets are built up to match each differential rate with its underlying information.
