The two volume set LNCS 8887 and 8888 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 10th International Symposium on Visual Computing, ISVC 2014, held in Las Vegas, NV, USA. The 74 revised full papers and 55 poster papers presented together with 39 special track papers were carefully reviewed and selected from more than 280 submissions. The Vision Zero Petition
In the aftermath of losing our two youngest daughters, AnnaLeah (17) and Mary (13), due to a truck underride crash on May 4, 2013, we became aware of far too many facts about tra ffic fatalities. In an e ffort to do more than just put a bandaid on the problem, we launched a campaign to call for major change in how safety laws and regulations are determined. Th€is book is a compilation of our request for a National Vision Zero Goal and for a Vision Zero rulemaking policy. The Schellman, Schelman, Shellman, Shelman Family Genealogy
Peter Barger (1690-1718) was born in Germany and immigrated to York County, Pennsylvania. His descendant, Elizabeth Barger (ca. 1747- 1820/1830) married Lewis (Ludwig) Schellman (ca. 1750-1820). They settled in Breckenridge County, Kentucky. Descendants lived in Kentucky, Missouri, Indiana, and many other states.
The Womack Trail
William Womack was probably born in the early 1600's, possibly in the Norfolk area of England. He lived in Henrico County, Virginia, and died ca. 1677. A descendant, Daniel Womack (1776-1830), married Nancy Pearcy, daughter of John and Ann Spencer Pearcy, in Bedford County, Virginia, in 1803. They had twelve children. Descendants lived in Virginia, Tennessee, Texas, Missouri, and elsewhere.
The Ethics of Virtual and Augmented Reality
