O casamento e a condição jurídica da mulher
Investigar o casamento na História e utilizar a condição da mulher como diretriz e limite do alcance temático possibilitou olhar para as instituições com outros olhos. Estabelecido o tema, uma das primeiras hipóteses investigativas era a de que havia algo em comum entre a trajetória do casamento e a aquisição de direitos civis, políticos e sociais pelas mulheres. Os dois percursos pareciam muito sincrônicos. Sabia-se da luta da mulher por sua emancipação e sabia-se dos avanços do casamento como instituição, mas não se sabia o que, especificamente, compassava os percursos. A pesquisa, inicialmente destinada à Dissertação de Mestrado no Programa de Pós-Graduação Stricto Sensu em Ciência Jurídica – PPCJ/UNIVALI, ocupa-se em investigar essa questão. É possível estabelecer uma relação entre a trajetória do casamento e a condição jurídica da mulher?
