Yürütülen muharebeler tamamen gerçeğe uygun şekilde açıklanmış olup, muharebenin içinde tutulan notlar, cerideler, harekatın bitiminde bölük ve takım komutanlarından alınan detaylı raporlar ile Rum karargahından ele geçen harekat emirleri, harita ve krokilerden istifade edilmiştir. Ayrıca harekata katılan Türk ve Yunan subaylarının yayınlanan hatıraları da konuya dahil edilmiştir.
