O livro Diálogos sobre Educação do Campo, resistência e emancipação social e humana: um chamamento para reflexão no/do cenário educacional originou-se a partir de debates e reflexões ocorridas no III Seminário Internacional da Educação do Campo (SIFEDOC), ocorrido na Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul – UFFS, campus Erechim/RS, em 2017. Nesse evento foi firmado compromisso pela produção de uma obra que representasse o coletivo dos participantes – escolas, movimentos sociais e universidades – comprometidos com a Educação Popular e com a Educação do Campo. A obra é composta por capítulos de autores da literatura nacional e internacional que defendem a Educação do Campo como área de produção de conhecimento, de políticas públicas e de movimento de resistência e emancipação social e humana.
